  1. I like your stitching. Do you just go by the color on the mesh fabric? Do they give you a chart? How hard would you say tapestry is? I have never tried it before. Sorry so many questions. This will be a very nice picture!

    1. Thank you Sandra. you have a chart and a color coded chart, a bit like paint by numbers :) but with threads. maybe this will explain how Tapestry is done http://summersewingroom.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/tapestry-v-cross-stitch.html

  7. Hiya dearest Summer long time no type :))))) hope I find you well dear lady , so glad you made the most of the beautiful weather we have been having this summer and ventured far and wide taking in the sights of your beautiful part of England . You do right to make the most of the opportunity to get out and about before winter visits us once more , BUT NOT YET :)))) ..This is such a rich beautiful warm tapestry dear Summer its intermingling of rich reds , oranges , multiple toned browns and blacks spill out across the weave as though the very fire itself extends beyond the hearth and lives within all that lays before it , the intertwining stripes of the cats and indeed the cats themselves as they two lick upon each others bodies as flames lick from the darkened coals as two into one they become as only cats can :))))) laid upon a bed of fiery coals in the format of the Fiery rug all laid upon narled timbered floor as though kindling to the fire all cumulating in the simulating of the living breathing fire that lives within all cats large and small domestic or wild , Truly a tapestry to warm the cockles of one's heart and minds eye on a cold winters night , with wind howling and sleetened rain whipping cruelly against window pane :)))))) ...the heavy pile of the weave as only tapestry can provide add to the shear wealth and warmth of this beautiful piece dear Summer . Your needle work as always dear Summer so immaculate in its presentation , each stitch marries to next with such accuracy that only good eye , steady hand and skilled mastery of this facet of creative art brought about by long hour of practice brings :))) .A gorgeous piece that will bring warmth to any room on the coldest of winters days .LOVE IT !!!!! dear Summer I SO await its beautiful bold bright conclusion . A wonderful subject matter dear Summer and soooo of your heart ..Thank YOU for sharing :))))) Dear Summer as always my most sincere respects Ban ^~~^ :))))))
